Left: The fencer, John Geange, is attaching 1.5m deer netting to posts. The fence with top and bottom wire has a height of about 1.8m (6 feet). This is high enough to keep out the sheep grazing in the adjacent paddocks and to keep most dogs from leaping over into the wetlands. An electrified outrigger wire will be attached to the fence at 1m high to keep the bulls off.
Below: Finished fence with one of three wide 4.25m (14 feet) gates for easy entry of equipment into the wetlands. Over 500 meters (542 yards) of fence was installed along the boundary of the neighbour's farm.
